Possible Causes For Electric Outlets Not Working:
- No power in entire condo:
- If there is no power at all it could be a planned power outage by the electric company. Out of an abundance of caution regarding wildfires, Edison will sometimes cut power during high winds or other extreme weather conditions. Check the latest status on the Edsion site here. Use “Mammoth Lakes” as location.
- Some outlets not working:
- If only certain outlets are not working it’s possible that a circuit breaker may have tripped. Check here for instructions on checking and resetting the circuit breakers.
- Outlets at kitchen counter not working (Keurig):
- Per code there is a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) outlet at the kitchen island near the sink. Check here for further instructuions to reset the GFI if it has tripped.

C02 Detector Beeping/chirping:
- Intermittant Chirping of C02 detector:
- Mono county requires C02 detectors in any unit that has gas supply (such as our propane fireplace). These devices plug into the wall and have a battery backup in case of a power outage. Over time as the batteries lose power the detector are designed to emit an intermittant chirping sound to indicate the 9V battery needs to be repaced. Please check here for the location and process of replacing the batterry if this occurs.

Fireplace not lighting:
- Fireplace will not light when thermostat changed
- If the fireplace won’t light it usually indicates that the thermostat is set above the temperature of the room or that periodic high winds have blown out the pilot. Please check here for full instructions on operating the fireplace.
