Don’t panic, you’re not seeing quintuple. There are actually five remotes for the family room TV!

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Use the “FM RM TV” remote to turn the TV on or off. Then use the “Source” button to choose between TV or Roku. If you get a message on the TV indicating that no input signal is detected, use the power button on the FM RM RKU or FM RM CBL remote to make sure the cable box is on and the Roku is on.

When you press “Source” on the TV remote you will see this menu on screen. Use the remote control’s left and right arrow buttons to choose between TV or Roku and then select your choice using the center button on remote.

REMOTE CONTROLS:

FM RM CBL – Use to change TV channels

FM RM DVD – Control DVD (Instructions below)

FM RM TV – TV on/off, Source and Volume

FM RM RKU – Select between Roku streaming services

FM RM SND – To turn sound bar on/off (it is usually on)

USING THE DVD PLAYER:

With all the cable channels and streaming services available today we rarely use the DVD player. However, there is a sizable collection of DVD titles available to you in the drawer under the Family Room TV, including children’s titles.

Since the Family room TV only has 2 HDMI inputs you will need to swap cables in order to watch DVDs on the Family Room TV.

The TV is on an extending swivel. Pulling out the TV you will find cable inputs on the back right side.

Make sure you have selected TV as the Source and carefully swap cables, unplugging the one marked “TV” and inserting the one marked “DVD”. Please be sure to swap the cables to their original position after you are finished using the DVD player.
